1-To register to vote in Arizona you must meet the following requirements: (a) be a United States citizen; (b) be 18 years of age or more on or before the date of the regular general election next following the registration (Currently - if your birthday is on, or before, November 4, 1990) (c) be a resident of the state 29 days next preceding the election, except for the presidential preference election if you have moved from another state; (d) have the ability to write the your name or make a mark, unless prevented by physical disability; (e) have no conviction for treason or felony (unless your voting rights have been restored); and (f) have no adjudication as an incapacitated person (described in A.R.S. § 16-101).

If this is your first time registering to vote in Arizona or you have moved to another county in Arizona, you must also include proof of citizenship or the form will be rejected. If you have an Arizona driver license or non-operating identification issued after October 1, 1996, write the number in box 13 on the front of the Arizona Voter Registration form. This will serve as proof of citizenship and no additional documents are needed. If not, you must attach proof of citizenship to the form. Only one acceptable form of proof is needed to register to vote. The following is a list of acceptable documents to establish your citizenship:

If you are registered in Arizona and use this registration form because you move within a county, change your name, or change your political party affiliation, you do not need to provide photocopies of proof of citizenship. If you move to a different Arizona county, you will need to provide proof of citizenship.     #1

3- If you've moved within the County, you can go to the correct polling place for your new address and correct the voting records. You will be required to provide identification that shows your full name and the new address.You will be required to sign a form confirming this is your new address and then allowed to vote a provisional ballot. If you wish to vote by mail, you must fill out the portion of the request designated for a change of address. If you have moved from another County or State, then you must reregister.#3

4- You can reregister and show your former name and new name. You may also vote a provisional ballot at the proper precinct.#4
